The secret to those who are into weight loss is high fiber, low sugar and low fat. Here's a list of stuff that's high in fiber. You can also log on here for a fiber count of all types of food. If it's sweet, it's probably high in sugar. If it's greasy or has that fatty taste (animals, stuff that comes from them, etc.) it's probably high in fat. That's the general rule we use. Check with other sources if you aren't sure, but remember to follow the money. If they make their money from selling cattle and tell you that eating cattle is good for you (for example), you may want to think again. Just like if the group "Bon Bons of American" tell you that eating bon bons are good for you, you may want to think again.
