Lissa Wohltmann is an award-winning writer, specializing in health and feature articles. As a retired Navy commander, she was the senior public affairs officer in Oklahoma at the Navy Operational Support Center. She has also been the Navy’s Public Affairs Community Exchange (PACE) newsletter editor, the executive producer and script writer of a film shot in Australia, executive officer of two different units and public affairs officer for two different regions (totally 20 states) in the U.S. Because of her expertise with newsletters, she was invited to give a brief, in Washington D.C., before 800 military personnel and civilians. She is an avid runner and bicycles for fun and transportation. She is currently enrolled in a graduate program for Public Health at Capella University.
